David says: "I am delighted to have been re-elected for a third term as a councillor for Pollokshields Ward. I ran a positive campaign based on my achievements and record of action - this was reflected in my vote increasing by such a significant amount.
"I therefore want to say 'Thank You' to every one who voted for me. It is a real honour that people have placed their trust in me again and I look forward to representing my constituents and the communities that make up the Pollokshields Ward.
"I will continue to hold advice surgeries, regularly communicate and always put local people's interests first. I also have a plan to improve the area and I aim to deliver on the pledges I made. Thanks again for your support: it's great to be re-elected so I can get back to working hard all year round for you."
